Holds Shattered Glass in Place
When impacted, safety window film provides an additional level of protection by holding glass fragments in place to ensure the glass will not shatter. This helps to minimizing damages and decrease the chance of injury.
Deter Unauthorized Entry
Security window film makes glass more difficult to breach, delaying entry by up to three minutes. Intruders will have to use a more considerable amount of force to gain entry, giving those inside time to run, hide, or call the authorities.
How it Works
Security window films are used to boost the safety of regular glass by strengthening it. Safety and security window film is made up of layers of polyester film that have been laminated together with unique adhesives. They can range in thickness from 4 mil to 15 mil, or higher. We use discrete attachment systems to anchor the film and glass to the window frame.
